Multi-angle drift storytelling

This project captures the atmosphere and intensity of Krāslavas Kauss 2025 using multiple camera perspectives: FPV chase lines for proximity and speed, DJI footage for clean establishing shots, and on-car / in-car cameras for immersion and driver context.

The goal was a cohesive edit that feels fast, close, and deliberate — with angles chosen for rhythm, proximity, and continuity rather than “random highlights”.

Highlights

  • Capture stack: FPV chase + DJI + on-car / in-car cameras.
  • Editing focus: pacing, continuity, and angle timing per run.
  • Output: single final cut published on YouTube.

Workflow

  • Plan: decide which runs get FPV proximity vs stabilized DJI coverage vs immersive in-car angles.
  • Capture: record repeatable passes, prioritize clean timing and usable perspective changes.
  • Edit: select best runs, lock pacing, cut on key moments, maintain continuity across angles.
  • Publish: final export for YouTube.

Tools

  • FPV: chase/drift proximity angles.
  • DJI: clean, stable establishing and tracking shots.
  • Car-mounted: exterior perspective tied to vehicle dynamics.
  • In-car: driver immersion and cockpit context.
